What is Frontend and Backend Development?
The term “front-end” refers to the user interface, while “back-end” means the server, application and database that work behind the scenes to deliver information to the user.

What is Frontend Development?
- The front-end is built using a combination of technologies such as Hypertext Markup Language.
- Front-end developers design and construct the user experience elements on the web page or app including buttons, menus, pages, links, graphics and more.
- Front-end web development, also known as client-side development is the practice of producing HTML, CSS and JavaScript for a website or Web Application so that a user can see and interact with them directly.
- The challenge associated with front end development is that the tools and techniques used to create the front end of a website change constantly and so the developer needs to constantly be aware of how the field is developing.
Frontend Languages:
1.HTML:-
- Hypertext Markup Language is the core of a website, providing the overall design and functionality.
- The HyperText Markup Language or HTML is the standard markup language for documents designed to be displayed in a web browser. It can be assisted by technologies such as Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and scripting languages such as JavaScript.
- The most recent version was released in late 2017 and is known as HTML5.2.
- The updated version includes more tools aimed at web application developers as well as adjustments made to improve interoperability.
2.CSS:-
- CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheets with an emphasis placed on “Style” and the latest version is CSS 3.
- Cascading style sheets give developers a flexible, precise way to create attractive, interactive website designs.
3.JavaScript:-
- This event-based language is useful for creating dynamic elements on static HTML web pages.
- It allows developers to access elements separate from the main HTML page, as well as respond to server-side events.

What is AngularJS??
AngularJS is an open-source Model-View-Controller framework that is similar to the JavaScript framework.It was maintained mainly by Google and a community of individuals and corporations. This framework is used for developing mostly Single Page applications. This framework has been developed by a group of developers from Google itself.
AngularJS is a framework to develop dynamic web applications. It uses +HTML as a template language and lets you extend HTML's syntax to express the components of the application.Also, it always incorporates the latest development trends in the market.
What is react JS??
React JS is a declarative, efficient, and flexible JavaScript library for building reusable UI components. It is an open-source, component-based front end library which is responsible only for the view layer of the application.
React is a JavaScript library for building user interfaces.
React is used to build single-page applications.
It was initially developed and maintained by Facebook and later used in its products like WhatsApp & Instagram.
What is Backend Development?
• The back-end, also called the server side, consists of the server which provides data on request, the application which channels it, and the database which organizes the information.
• For example, when a customer browses shoes on a website, they are interacting with the front end.
• After they select the item they want, put it in the shopping cart, and authorize the purchase, the information is kept inside the database which resides on the server.
• A few days later when the client checks on the status of their delivery, the server pulls the relevant information, updates it with tracking data, and presents it through the front-end.
Back-end development means working on server-side software, which focuses on everything you can't see on a website. Back-end developers ensure the website performs correctly, focusing on databases, back-end logic, application programming interface (APIs), architecture, and servers.
Backend languages:
PHP is a server scripting language, and a powerful tool for making dynamic and interactive Web pages.

2.Python: The language is fast and contains shorter code. Python is a general-purpose interpreted, interactive, object-oriented, and high-level programming language. It is good for beginners as it concentrates on the readability and simplicity of the code. Python functions well in the object-oriented environment and used in famous sites like Youtube, Google, etc.
3.Ruby: It contains complex logic which packages the back-end with database utility which can also be provided by PHP and SQL.
Back End Frameworks:
Express :– Express is a Node js framework used for backend/server-side development. It is used to build single-page, multi-page, web
applications. With its help, you can handle multiple different HTTP requests.
Django :– Django is a Python web-based framework, following the model-template-views pattern. It is used to build large and complex web applications. Its features include being fast, secure, and scalable.
